Paquin, 27, is an actress who first came to prominence for her childhood performance in the movie « The Piano. » She won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress and gave one of the cutest speeches in Oscar history. Announcement from Day 2 of the « We Give a Damn » campaign. The organization describes itself as « a bold, web-based initiative with the goal of educating and engaging the straight community in the advancement of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender equality. » Several celebrities appear in the PSA videos including « Cyndi Lauper, Elton John, Whoopi Goldberg, Jason Mraz, Cynthia Nixon, Anna Paquin, Sharon & Kelly Osbourne, Judith Light, Kim Kardashian, Clay Aiken, Wanda Sykes, Eric Roberts, and Kevin Alejandro. » It is not known if television stations will actually air the saucy ads which repetitively use the four-letter word, or who the target audience is.
