Anna Paquin and Martin Henderson attend the Rise Up Christchurch telethon appeal event at the residence of the New Zealand Consulate-General on May 21, 2011 in Los Angeles, California.

The 12-hour global telethon to support victims of the February 11 Christchurch earthquake was broadcast across New Zealand with live crosses to events in London, Los Angeles and Sydney.

After five hours, over $900,000 had been raised, Christchurch locals amazed with all the support.

Last night the Saturn Award nominations were announced and True Blood received four of them! Congrats to the entire True Blood team, and to Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer & Joe Manganiello for the noms.

I have to wonder though, where are Denis O’Hare’s best guest role nominations for his portrayal as Russell Edgington? I mean… where are they? It’s a travesty of a mockery of a sham I tell you!
