Open House is a psychological thriller. The movie was not only filmed by Andrew Paquin but it was also filmed in his home. The film follows the story of a troubled couple who hold an open house with terrifying consequences.

We were so sad to see that Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer were missing from their own after-party for the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of their movie Open House at Wildwood BBQ in NYC on Apr. 24 sponsored by Stoli Vodka! All of the people involved in the film and the engaged couple’s supporters came out — but the two love birds were a no-show!

We heard the couple may have opted to attend another private party for Anna’s brother, Andrew Paquin, who directed the film. Some party guests and friends of the Paquin family, said they were leaving Wildwood BBQ and heading to a Norwood Club for a private event.

We decided not to pull an Owen Wilson or Vince Vaughn and crash the private event. Besides, we’re sure Anna is pretty tired of answering questions about her recent coming out as a bisexual woman in a PSA for the Give A Damn campaign. “I’m Anna Paquin,” she says in the PSA. “I’m bisexual and I give a damn.”

Though we didn’t get to see Anna or Stephen, we did get pretty close to one of our other favorite Hollywood couples — Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts — at their after-party for the Tribeca film Every Day, also sponsored by Stoli Vodka at 675 Bar.

The couple, who have two sons together — Alexander, 2, and Samuel, 1 — still looked super cute and happy together after more than three years of being together. Neither left each other’s sides as they laughed and talked for the majority of the night.

Naomi looked super cute sporting a black leather jacket and her blonde hair in a high, messy ponytail! The only thing missing from her awesome outfit — a diamond ring.

Actress Helen Hunt also made an appearance at the party, as she played a major role in the film.

TV goes to the movies: « Open House, » directed by Andrew Paquin — and featuring his sister, « True Blood » co-star Anna Paquin — screens Saturday, Sunday, Monday and next Friday at the Tribeca Film Festival (tribeca film.com has info).

The movie, billed as a psychological thriller about « co-dependent psychopaths, » also co- stars Brian Geraghty, Tricia Helfer (« Battlestar Galactica »), Rachel Blanchard (« 7th Heaven ») and Paquin’s « True Blood » castmate Stephen Moyer. HBO, by the way, is auctioning off a walk-on role on « True Blood » via charitybuzz.com.
